The school forms a parts of the sprawling 2.5 km surrounding area which also houses Shekhawati Engineering College and Shekhawati Teacher’s Training College. The campus is so designed that it is 100% self sufficient. The concept is designed with insight to facilitate the students with all amenities, so that they can spend their time in more constructive manner.

Admission Procedure

Admission is given to boys & girls from India and abroad regardless of caste, class, colour, creed or community. Children seeking admission to classes Nursery to IX or XI may obtain Registration form & Prospectus from the school office on any working day on payment of Rs. 500.00 in cash or by sending a Demand Draft of Rs. 500.00 by post in favor of the Principal, Shekhawati Public School payable at Oriental Bank of Commerce, Nawalgarh. On being registered, children up to Pre-primary section
Nursery to UKG) will be admitted through interview of the child with the parent. From Class I onwards, written admission test of English, Hindi and Mathematics will be conducted from the syllabi of the class previous to which admission has been sought. The result of the admission test will be declared after few days of the test. Successful candidates will have to deposit the fee within a week from the declaration of the result failing which the seat may be allotted to the other deserving candidate. Only those who qualify will be granted admission. However, registration does not guarantee admission.

The parent must submit the following documents to the school office at the time of admission.
  • Transfer Certificate in the original
  • Attested marks sheet the qualifying examination of the previous school
  • Date of birth certificate
  • Fitness certificate from a registered Medical Practitioner
  • 2 passport size photograph each of the student, parents and local guardian (if boarder).
Generally Registration opens in the first week of January and the admission test is conducted on the last Sunday of February. Duration of the test in 2 hours.

As per the CBSE norms, no formal examinations are conducted for classes I to V. However, the school encourages activity based learning process and the promotion of the student based on his/her cumulative performance through out the year. For classes VI to VIII promotion to higher class depends upon his/her performance in monthly and terminal tests during the session. The overall performance of a student is judged on the year's average score calculated by adding 20% marks of monthly tests, 40% of terminals and 40% of the Annual examinations. The minimum marks to be secured by a student in each subjects are 33% in the qualifying examination. The result declared at the end of the session will be full and final in all respects.
